The KCC worship team’s purpose is to lead the congregation into worship, which simply put, is laying it all down before Him, acknowledging by our actions, reactions, thought processes, and heart, that He is Almighty God! That He has given us the opportunity to come to Him because of the sacrifice he made by his Son Jesus, and that He wants to use us to make a difference in others lives.
Each member of the Worship team understands that worship is “not just about Sunday”, But an occurrence that takes place each day of the week, in all situations. Living their lives as a “Real example” We are to be a light unto a world that is flooded with darkness!
The team is comprised of individuals who are from our own congregation, utilizing the talents that God has given them in various areas, such as Singing, Playing Instrumentally, Sound, Lighting, or Audio/Visual control.
We are always on the lookout for those who would be willing to step out in faith to be a part of the team, we continue to better ourselves through evaluation and training, as to do our best for God.
The best way to describe our music would be to call the song selection “blended”, a mixture of contemporary Christian rock and Hymns.
